Made from Black Walnut with a hardwood base. Black Walnut is fine-grained and quite dense. It can range in colour from a deep, rich brown to a lighter caramel. It’s darker colour can really cause your artwork to pop, making it a great choice for frames.

Each frame is 1.5” deep and will fit flat panel artworks up to 1/4” depth. Simply select the size of your artwork and we will make a frame to fit your piece with a float gap of approximately 1/8”.

Available in our narrow (3/8”) style, natural (unfinished), with a lovely beeswax cream finish, or with our Secret Sauce - a dark stain.

Although we have some frames in stock, most are made-to-order, so please allow at least 4 weeks for us to complete your order.

Shipping: Please note that all orders can be picked up! If you'd like delivery, Muskoka area orders have a flat rate delivery charge of $15. Orders outside of Muskoka have a flat rate charge of $35. Should your order cost significantly more than the flat rate for us to ship, we may contact you to let you know the additional shipping cost. If at that point you decide not to continue with your order, it will be fully refunded. Shipping costs depend entirely on your location and the size/weight of your order.
